Day One - Evening

Day One

We went to a polish restaurant last night with our Italians and Polish friends. It specialised in dumplings and they were awesome!
They were either boiled or roasted and were filled with whatever we wanted..... Chicken, meat, salami, cheese, mushrooms, pumpkin seeds??? We all had roasted dumplings which were a bit like calzone pizzas or our small pasties. We were bursting when we finished and didn't have any room for the strawberry, blueberry or chocolate ones, but we still have 7 nights left to try them......

Adam wanted to find a market so we had a short walk around the square and found a "green market" selling cakes, meat and fruit.

Jonathan wants to try the cakes today....so does Mrs Thompson! But only when we tidy our room.

The hotel is in the middle of Warsaw and is really great. The trams are outside...Alex thought it was an aeroplane coming into the room last night but he is used to the trams now. Mrs Tait has us all organised for walking today....Callum isn't so sure but Miss Best says we are practising for Derwent Hill.
