Day Five - On the journey

Lots of snow has fallen last night and we plodged through it to get on the bus for Gdansk. In England we would all have been housebound and roads gridlocked this morning but .... not in Poland. All geared up for it and prepared, everyone seems to clear so much of the roads and paths in the village and what is surprising is there doesn't seem to be any grit used anywhere.

The Polish teachers have brought us even more coats, jumpers, scarves, gloves and hats because it is colder in Gdansk. We don't need any but the Turks and Bulgarians are shivering!!!!!
We have been guessing how cold it is going to be. Adam thinks it is going to be -23C, Alex thinks it is is going to be -15C, Callum thinks it is going to be -20C, Jonathan thinks it is going to be -12C, Mrs Tait thinks it is going to be -15C, Miss Best thinks it is going to be -18C and Mrs Thompson thinks it is so cold that it is going to be -22C. Who is the nearest?? The boys will blog later and tell you.

We were looking forward to buying presents and spending some money as we haven't been able to buy anything up to now!

We travelled through miles and miles of forests and lakes which were totally beautiful and incredibly peaceful. There are lots of Christmas trees!
